Sam Houston Heritage Trail

Sam Houston was a man of many nations: the United States, the Cherokee nation, and the Republic of Texas.   He was an agent of change and served in all three nations forever changing them by his presence.  The Cherokee took him in and Tennessee would become the mother state of Texas as the Volunteer state rallied to the cry for aid from their lost brother.  Discover the trail and what caused his growth and transformation into a forger of nations: Sam Houston.
